Honeycomb Blind Installation Tutorial
Tools to prepare before installation:
Power drill, tape measure, pencil, screwdriver, level (recommended)
Step 1: Check Package Contents
Open the package and confirm the following items are included:
- Honeycomb blind body ×1
- Mounting brackets (top mount/face mount) ×2 or more
- Screws and wall plugs ×1 pack
- Handle/cord tensioner (if applicable)
If any parts are missing, please contact customer service for replacement.
Step 2: Measure & Position
Determine the installation method:
- Top mount (inside frame): The blind fits inside the window frame
- Face mount (outside frame): The blind covers the outside of the window frame
Mark the bracket positions:
- Use a tape measure to measure the blind width. Leave approximately 1-2cm from each end for top mount, or follow actual dimensions for face mount
- Use a pencil to mark the center points of the left and right brackets on the wall/window frame
- Ensure both points are level (use a level)
📏 Top mount recommendation: Bracket spacing = Blind width – 2cm
📏 Face mount recommendation: Bracket spacing = Blind width – 4cm
Step 3: Install the Brackets
- Drill holes at the marked positions (match drill bit size to wall plugs)
- Insert the wall plugs
- Align the bracket with the holes and tighten with screws
- Repeat the above steps to secure all brackets
✅ Ensure the brackets are symmetrical and level
Step 4: Install the Honeycomb Blind
- Align the top clips/hooks of the honeycomb blind with the bracket slots
- Gently push upward until you hear a “click” — this means it is securely locked in place
- Pull the bottom rail of the blind to check for smooth lifting and lowering
- If applicable, adjust cord/spring tension according to actual conditions
⚠️ Note: After installation, raise and lower the blind 2-3 times to ensure smooth operation.
Step 5: Adjustment & Final Touches
- If the blind is uneven, fine-tune the left/right position of the brackets
- For cordless spring-loaded models, manually pull down and release 2-3 times to activate the spring during first use
- Clean up any installation dust. Keep the packaging in case of returns or exchanges
